Indian IT firms secured just 4,573 new H-1B approvals in FY 2025 — a steep 70 per cent drop from 2015 — as President Donald Trump’s tougher stance on the visa programme reshapes hiring patterns, according to a new NFAP analysis cited by the Times of India.
