Gaza faces fresh water crisis as supplier halts services after Hamas detains staff

A water desalination company serving nearly half of Gaza’s population has halted operations to protest the detention of one of its staff members by Hamas. The suspension affects over one million residents who rely on the company’s plants for clean water.
