By Tuesday morning, Lahore’s AQI had climbed to 266, second only to the Indian capital, which is currently the world’s most air-polluted city. Marriyum Aurangzeb, a Cabinet minister from Pakistan’s Punjab province, described the situation as a ‘cross-border environmental challenge’
