President Donald Trump on Monday threatened to impose “substantial additional tariffs” and export curbs on the advanced American technology and semiconductors in retaliation for what he described as an “attack” on US tech companies with digital taxes by several countries.
He accused the nations of imposing such taxes on the US tech firms to “harm or discriminate against” the American technology, while giving a “complete pass” to the Chinese companies.
