Trump Hints At Meeting With Kim Jong Un, Casts Doubt On Putin-Zelenskyy Talks

Trump stated that Putin was hesitant to meet with Zelenskyy, even as the US President engaged with both leaders in an effort to broker a peace agreement.

US President Donald Trump on Monday said Russian President Vladimir Putin was hesitant to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the former “does not like him”, while also talking about his plans to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

During a press conference, when he was asked why Putin was reluctant to meet Zelenskyy, Trump said, “Because he does not like him. He does not like him.”
