Several people have reportedly been injured at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Michigan, United States, after an unidentified man opened fire on people at the site. Videos from the area showed the church on fire, with its roof collapsing.

According to local media reports, an active shooter incident was reported in Grand Blanc, Michigan, before 11 am (local time) on Sunday. The shooter was shot dead by law enforcement authorities.

Police said around 11:25 am that the shooter is “down” and there is no threat to the public. However, the church was still on fire and people have been asked to avoid the area.
