Aylo, parent of Pornhub, will pay a 5 million dollar penalty to Utah and implement measures to block non-consensual content.

Pornhub’s parent company and its affiliates will pay a $5 million penalty.
The operators of Pornhub and other adult websites agreed to settle charges brought by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the state of Utah that they misled users by failing to adequately block child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other non-consensual content.
In a statement, the FTC said Aylo- Pornhub’s parent company and its affiliates- will pay a $5 million penalty to Utah and implement a compliance program aimed at preventing the distribution of CSAM and non-consensual material (NCM) across its platforms.

“As part of a proposed order settling the allegations, Pornhub’s operators, Aylo and its affiliated companies (collectively Aylo), will be required to establish a program to prevent the distribution of CSAM and NCM on its websites and pay a $5 million penalty to the state of Utah,” the agency said.
