PM Modi China Visit Live Updates: PM Arrives In Tianjin To Participate In SCO Summit

PM Narendra Modi China Visit Live Updates, SCO Summit: Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong on Saturday warmly welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tianjin on his visit to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit. Members of the Indian diaspora in Tianjin welcomed PM Modi with great zeal upon his arrival in the city.

PM Modi landed at Binhai International Airport for his two-day official visit and was greeted by senior Chinese and Indian officials.

This year’s SCO summit will review 25 years of the organization’s achievements and also adopt a ten-year development strategy. China is hosting the SCO Summit for the fifth time, with President Xi Jinping chairing the proceedings. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin are among the prominent participants.

PM Modi is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and other leaders on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
