The US Department of Justice released a transcript of a previously undisclosed interview with Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime associate of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime associate of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, told a top administration official that she never saw US President Donald Trump engage in any improper or illegal acts during his friendship with Epstein, according to transcripts released by the Justice Department on Friday (local time).

The US Department of Justice released a transcript of a previously undisclosed interview with Ghislaine Maxwell, 63, who is currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence for sex trafficking and other crimes related to Epstein’s abuse of underage girls.

The transcripts and audio, covering two days of interviews in late July between Maxwell and Todd Blanche, the former Trump defence lawyer tapped to the No. 2 post at the Justice Department, according to the New York Times.
