Mexico President Sheinbaum Calls For Probe Into Violent Gen Z Protests, Fueled By Mayor’s Murder |4K

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum called for an investigation into clashes with police during a large weekend protest in the capital, arguing that the anti-government demonstration was co-opted by violent groups. “I asked the office of the attorney general to investigate who these groups are, where this violence is coming from,” she said at her daily press conference on Monday. Saturday’s Mexico City march marked the biggest protest to date since Sheinbaum took office a little over a year ago. It included isolated scuffles with police that injured dozens, with police at times using tear gas to disperse crowds. n18oc_crux | n18oc_world
