Mexican Fashion Influencer Found Dead Days After Posting Cryptic Clown Video

Mexican fashion influencer Marian Izaguirre has died at the age of 23 days after she shared a cryptic post and later was reported missing.

According to a report by People magazine, Izaguirre was reported missing in Uruapan on September 1 days after she shared a cryptic video of herself wearing clown makeup, crying and lip-syncing a song on lost love. She was found on September 6 in a hotel in Morelia, central Mexico and hospitalized for treatment.

The statement released by officials cited fatal health complications that led to her becoming brain-dead in the hospital, as per a local outlet El Financiero. She died on September 12.

It further reported that the deceased’s family has given authorization for the donation of her organs, including her skin, skeletal muscle, corneas and kidneys.

Following her, tributes poured in from the influencer’s 4.1 million TikTok followers. “In the short time I knew you, you were a wonderful girl, with a smile that never went away,” fellow content creator Marcelo Alcázar wrote, adding, “You’re an angel, and you always were.”
