White House Trade Advisor Peter Navarro continued his rant on the social media site X over India’s Russian oil purchases, but this time, his focus shifted to Indians who were fact-checking and adding context to his posts.

Taking a dig at contexts being added to his posts, Navarro, in a seven-part post, said, “India’s keyboard minions are hijacking X’s Community Notes to bury the facts. They’re furious about losing unfettered access to US markets—even as India, the Maharaja of Tariffs, keeps some of the world’s highest trade barriers.”

In the second post, he mentioned that India’s steep tariffs are costing American jobs, while its purchase of discounted Russian oil is seen as a profit-driven move that funnels revenues directly into funding President Vladimir Putin’s war machine.

He added, “Frenzied Indian partisans swarmed—and cobbled together a flimsy Community Note to protest the truth.”
