Kim Jong Un’s aides cleaned as soon as his meeting with Vladimir Putin ended.
No sooner had Kim Jong Un left the room than his aides moved in with the urgency of a hazmat crew. A newly surfaced video shows North Korean staff furiously scrubbing and sanitising every object the North Korean leader had touched during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing.
The footage captured one aide polishing the backrest and arms of Kim Jong Un’s chair while another carefully whisked away his drinking glass on a tray. Even the side table was wiped until no trace remained.

Precaution Or Paranoia?
The reason for such forensic decontamination remains unclear. Although Kim Jong Un is not alone in guarding his biological footprint. Vladimir Putin himself reportedly travels with bodyguards who collect his urine and faeces in sealed containers, later flown back to Moscow, to prevent foreign powers from gleaning details about his health.

The talks between the two leaders ended on what Russian state media called a “positive note.” Kim Jong Un pledged full support to Vladimir Putin, telling him, “If there is anything I can or must do for you and the Russian people, I consider it my duty as a fraternal obligation.”
The Beijing parade marked Kim Jong Un’s first known overseas trip since the pandemic and his first joint appearance with both Vladimir Putin and China’s President Xi Jinping.
