Amid rumours of his death, US President Donald Trump has now urged his supporters to donate $15 during a 24-hour “fundraising blitz” so that he can get to “heaven”.

Trump sent a campaign fundraising email with the subject line “I want to try and get to Heaven”, with his message framing his political career and survival of last year’s assassination attempt as evidence of divine intervention, according to Newsweek.

The e-mail presented past campaign events, including his 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton, his impeachment acquittals and ongoing battles as part of a divine purpose and asked his base to donate $15.

Trump Mentions 2016 Elections, Assassination Attempts

“Last year I came millimeters from death when that bullet pierced through my skin. My triumphant return to the White House was never supposed to happen! But I believe that God saved me for one reason: TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he said in the email.

“I wasn’t supposed to beat Crooked Hillary in 2016 – but I did. I wasn’t supposed to secure the border & build the greatest economy in history – but I did. I certainly wasn’t supposed to survive an assassin’s bullet, but by the grace of the almighty God, I did. SO NOW, I have no other choice but to answer the Call to Duty, but I can’t do it alone.”

“Just because I won in a HISTORIC landslide and have unleashed the Golden Age of America, THAT DOESN’T MEAN WE CAN TAKE OUR FOOT OFF THE GAS!” he added. “That’s why I’ve launched a 24 HOUR TRUMP FUNDRAISING BLITZ, and I’m asking everyone to chip in $15 to make it in the record books.”

Earlier, during a conversation with Fox & Friends, Trump said he believes his efforts to mediate peace between Russia and Ukraine could improve his chances of getting into heaven.

“I want to try and get to heaven, if possible,” Trump said during an appearance on Fox & Friends, just a day after welcoming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and several European leaders to the White House.

Trump’s Death Rumours

This came after rumours about the US President’s death had caused widespread discussion and confusion online. The trend grew with hashtags like #TRUMPISDEAD and #TRUMPDIED.

These rumours were fuelled by a lack of recent public appearances by Trump, as well as photos that appeared to show bruising on the president’s right hand. In July, the White House confirmed that Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition common in older adults.

Furthermore, US Vice President JD Vance fuelled speculation by saying he was ready to step in if there is a “terrible tragedy”.

Trump put to rest rumours about his death during a White House dinner with tech CEOs, telling reporters, “I am still here”. He also rejected speculation about his “deteriorating” health in a Truth Social post, saying he has “never felt better” in his life.
