Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday began his 25th year as the head of a government, and what is being claimed as India’s “biggest” AI film challenge has been launched to mark this special occasion.

The Bluekraft Digital Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has launched ‘Vision Bharat AI Film Challenge’ as Modi completes 24 years in governance.

“As Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 24 continuous as head of an elected government, ‘Vision Bharat AI Film Challenge’ invites creators to participate in India’s biggest AI Film Challenge,” said Akhilesh Mishra, CEO, Bluekraft Digital Foundation, in a post on X.

Mishra invited “rigorous, well-researched, and creative” 60-second AI-powered films as entries to the competition, which he said has been designed “to help visualise the Prime Minister’s vision”.

“Entries may focus on his life and leadership, decisive actions, guiding philosophy for a Viksit Bharat, or the impact of key policies,” Mishra wrote on X. “Selected works will gain national recognition, prizes, and opportunities for further development, with showcase potential at a dedicated AI Film Festival.”

He said the entries will be evaluated by a jury of filmmakers, artists, digital creators, and technology leaders on creativity, cultural authenticity, and technical execution.

The entries can be submitted through: https://bluekraft.in and https://aifilmchallenge.in, and the deadline for this is October 26.

Modi, who completed 24 years in governance, said improving the lives of people and contributing to the progress of this great nation have been his constant endeavour.

In a series of posts on X, he noted that he had taken oath on this day in 2001 as Gujarat’s chief minister for the first time.

“Thanks to the continuous blessings of my fellow Indians, I am entering my 25th year of serving as the head of a Government. My gratitude to the people of India,” Modi said on social media. “Through all these years, it has been my constant endeavour to improve the lives of our people and contribute to the progress of this great nation that has nurtured us all.”

After spearheading the BJP to victory in three consecutive assembly elections in Gujarat, Modi has led the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance to win in three successive national elections.

As an incumbent, he has never faced an electoral defeat and holds the record as the longest head of a government, including as CM for more than 12-and-a-half years, among all PMs.
