Two Gangsters Planning To Murder Munawar Faruqui Arrested In Encounter With Delhi Police

Delhi Police Special Cell nabbed two gangsters associated with the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virender Charan crime syndicate, foiling an alleged plot to murder Munawar Faruqui.

In a major development, two gangsters associated with the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virender Charan crime syndicate were apprehended following an encounter with a Delhi Police Special Cell team on the Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj road. The duo were recently planning to murder a famous social media influencer.

The criminals were identified as Rahul, a resident of Panipat, Haryana, and Sahil, a resident of Bhiwani. Rahul was involved in a triple murder case in Haryana’s Yamuna Nagar in December 2024 and had been on the run since, according to Delhi Police officials.

As per the Delhi Police, the gangsters had planned to murder comedian Munawar Faruqui and had conducted multiple recce for their plan, involving carrying out surveillance in Mumbai and West Bengal.
