The Shillong Teer lottery combines the age-old sport of archery with the thrill of winning cash prizes. Popular throughout Meghalaya, it provides attractive rewards while also helping to preserve and promote this traditional sport.

HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?

The Shillong Teer lottery is conducted in two quick rounds, each lasting approximately two minutes. In the first round, archers shoot 30 arrows, followed by 20 arrows in the second round.

Participants place their bets by selecting a number between 0 and 99, predicting the total number of arrows that will hit the target. Tickets are available at licensed counters in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50. The prize amount depends on both the ticket value and the accuracy of the prediction.

For instance, a Rs 1 ticket with a correct guess in the first round wins Rs 80, while a correct prediction in the second round earns Rs 60. Players who successfully predict both rounds can win up to Rs 4,000 with a Re 1 ticket.

In addition to Shillong Teer, other popular Teer games include Juwai Teer, Khanapara Teer, Ladrymbai Teer, and Night Teer.
