Shillong Teer is a unique lottery game that combines traditional archery with the thrill of winning cash prizes. Widely popular in Meghalaya, it not only offers attractive rewards but also helps in promoting the age-old sport of archery.
HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
The game is played in two short rounds, each lasting for two minutes.
In the first round, skilled archers shoot 30 arrows at the target and 20 arrows in the second.
Players place their bets by choosing a number between 0 and 99, aiming to predict the total number of arrows that will hit the target.
Tickets are sold at authorised  counters in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, and Rs 50.
The prize amount is determined by both the ticket value and the accuracy of the prediction. For example, a correct guess in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket earns Rs 80, while an accurate prediction in the second round wins Rs 60. Players who successfully predict the results of both rounds can win as much as Rs 4,000 with a Rs 1 ticket.
