The Uttarakhand High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the BCCI on petitions seeking a probe into the alleged misuse of ₹12 crore in government funds earmarked for tournaments by the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU).

According to The Times of India, the petitioners have relied on the CAU’s audit report, prepared by an external chartered accountant, which unusually lists ₹35 lakh as “expenditure on bananas for players.”
