The Yatra entered its eighth day on Sunday and will conclude in Patna on September 1.

The 16-day Yatra in Bihar is being carried out by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, who aim to target the government over alleged voter theft and take their serious charges of “vote chori” among people ahead of the Assembly Elections in the state later this year.

The two leaders have alleged irregularities in the voter list, accusing the Election Commission of India of deliberately adding names of voters to favour the BJP.

The Yatra will cover over 1,300 km across 20 districts in the state and will conclude in Patna.

The polls are slated to be held later this year, though the ECI has yet to announce the schedule for the same.
