Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit several states that have been affected by heavy rains, and will review relief operations, according to government sources.
In the past few weeks, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand have been devastated by flash floods and landslides triggered by incessant rainfall. PM Modi is expected to visit these four states and review relief efforts.
