Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE: Oppn VP Candidate Justice B Sudarshan To File Nomination At 11:30 AM

Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE: The Parliament Monsoon session comes to an end with both the houses set to witness the last proceedings of the session today. The monsoon session has witnessed many disruptions over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, with the leaders of the Opposition creating a ruckus and demanding to hold a discussion on the matter, leading to frequent adjournments in both houses.

The session also saw a discussion on Operation Sindoor with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting India’s strong developmental and military posture. In the Rajya Sabha, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar declared India’s response uncompromising, stating, “Blood and water will not flow together,” referring to the Indus Waters Treaty.

A major highlight of this year’s monsoon session was the sudden resignation of Vice President VP Dhankar. On July 21, 2025, coinciding with the first day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Jagdeep Dhankhar submitted his resignation as Vice President of India, citing health reasons and invoking Article 67(a) of the Constitution.
