Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, speaking at an event, said there was a “paid political campaign” against him over the E20 petrol rollout program, which has now been proven false.

He added that he has urged the Finance Minister to consider GST relief for customers scrapping old vehicles to purchase new cars, stressing that such a move would support both consumers and the auto industry.
