For the first time in India, more than 500 content creators gathered in the national capital on Tuesday for the ISKCON Creators Summit 2025—an event aimed at promoting traditions and culture while steering youth away from addictions.

The gathering, featuring several influencers, including RJ Raunac, Sonu Sharma, Rishabh Shukla, Rajan Arora, Deepak Garg, Nitesh Soni, Shreewarrna Rawat, Anant Ladha, Vivek Bindra, Aarti Khetarpal, and Yatinder Singh, called for using the power of digital platforms to push healthier lifestyles, an official statement from ISKCON said.

Influencers with five to ten million followers were honoured with the “Impact with Responsibility” award, while those with more than ten million subscribers received the “Great Impact with Responsibility” recognition. Another category recognised creators as “Ambassadors of Culture and Wellness”.

The summit emphasised guiding Gen Z to reconnect with their roots and embrace a lifestyle grounded in cultural values. Creators were also felicitated for their contributions to spreading spirituality in innovative ways.

“While there have been other social media summits, this was first of its kind which brought together some of India’s most impactful content creators … focusing on promoting … India’s traditions and culture,” the official statement added.

The summit reinforced ISKCON’s long-standing role in nurturing youth and preserving India’s rich traditions, the statement said.

Calling the “digital medium” one of the strongest forces shaping the mindset of today’s generation, Sriman Yudhistir Govinda Das, Trustee and Country Director of Communications at ISKCON India, added that there is a dire need for India’s story to be shared with the world.

“ISKCON’s aim is to guide creators to use their influence responsibly to spread wellness, positivity, and our culture,” he said, adding that they plan to bring forth more initiatives where culture meets creativity to help the youth connect with their roots and build a prosperous future.

The evening opened with kirtans by ISKCON devotees, followed by panel discussions among the influencers.

One of the key focuses of the event was to help the youth adopt a better lifestyle away from drugs and addictions that are killing lakhs of people every year.

Speakers highlighted that addictions kill lakhs every year—1.5 lakh due to tobacco, 2.5 lakh due to alcohol, and more lives lost to suicide than during the coronavirus pandemic. Creators shared ways to encourage a positive outlook among youth despite hardships.

Not just content creators, but Union Cabinet Minister Bhupender Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also attended the summit, urging the youth for a positive change in society.

Gupta, while speaking at the event, said that the summit brings young influencers on one platform to inspire the younger generation towards the path of culture, unity, and nation-building.

“In today’s time, it is essential that our youth remain connected with their roots and develop a deep sense of pride and responsibility towards our Swadesh. Such initiatives play a significant role in guiding the energy of young India in the right direction, fostering values of harmony, wellness, and love for the nation,” she said.

Yadav said that if creators highlight the treasures of India’s culture with authenticity, it will not only strengthen the youth but also enhance tourism and project India’s soft power across the globe.

“Indian culture, and Indic knowledge, has had solutions to complex problems like stress and mental health ailments for thousands of years. What the world needs is to present these solutions in a way that is communicable to all sections of society and across age groups,” he added.

ISKCON, calling itself a “source of inspiration for countless youngsters”, said the summit marked the start of a broader movement where creators use their platforms to help India’s youth embrace culture, wellness, and an addiction-free life.
