Rajkumar spent time playing with his 1.5 year old daughter, went into the bathroom to take a bath, where he reportedly shot himself.

A government officer, Naib Tehsildar Rajkumar Chaudhary, posted in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly shot himself at his official residence. The incident took place on Wednesday morning around 10 AM. Police said Rajkumar was at the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday and returned home the next morning. Later, he reportedly locked himself in his room and family members heard a loud gunshot.
When they rushed to check the room, they found him lifeless with his pistol nearby. He was immediately taken to a hospital, but unfortunately, he could not be saved.

Moments Before Naib Tehsildar Took His Onw Life
According to Amar Ujwala, Naib Tehsildar, son of Kunwarpal, arrived at his official residence in the Officer’s Colony of Bijnor from Prayagraj around 8 AM on Wednesday. Around 10 AM, he played with his 1.5 year old daughter. Before going to his room, he told his father that he was going to take a bath, not knowing that this was the last time his family saw him. Later, a gunshot was heard from inside his room.
The family initially tried knocking on door, but when there was no response, they, along with neighbours, decided to break it. What they saw next was a tragic sight as Rajkumar Chaudhary was lying on the floor, covered in blood. He was immediately taken to Bina Prakash Hospital, where doctors declared him dead around 1:30 PM.
While the exact reason behind his death is still not known but after Rajkumar passed away, district leaders, including DM Jasjit Kaur and SP Abhishek Jha, came together to pay their respects. They visited his home, the hospital and the post-mortem facility. Authorities are investigating the matter to understand what happened.
Rajkumar’s Family And Career Background
Rajkumar Chaudhary, a resident of Nagal village in Baghpat district, was survived by his parents, Santosh Devi and Kunwarpal, his wife, Anchal, daughters – Siya (10), and Shabi (one-and-half-year old). Before being appointed as a Naib Tehsildar in 2022, Rajkumar served as a constable in the Delhi Police and later worked as a Registrar Kanungo.
