The confrontation soon turned physical, with videos recorded by bystanders showing the scuffle spreading outside the premises.

The clips later went viral on social media.

Bouncer Mayur Madhukar Phadtare (27), a resident of Pune, lodged a complaint at Yerawada Police Station following the incident.

Based on his statement, police booked two men — Akhil Ashok Kumar (27) of Vadgaonsheri and his associate Kyle Edward Cummins (24) of Pirangut, Mulshi taluka.

The duo has been charged under sections 115 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
