The Narendra Modi Stadium, the world’s largest stadium, is set to be a key venue, having successfully hosted the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Final.

The 2030 CWG will see participation of athletes from 72 nations, bringing thousands of coaches, officials, fans, tourists, and media personnel to India, thereby giving a substantial boost to the local economy in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, retail, and transportation.

More than just a sports extravaganza, the Games hold the promise of generating employment and enhancing opportunities in sports science, event management, broadcasting, IT, and public relations. It is also anticipated to inspire young Indians towards greater involvement in sports and athletic careers.

Officials highlighted that hosting the CWG would instil national pride and unity, offering the nation a moment of collective celebration. This bid signifies India’s growing confidence on the global stage.
