Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan on Friday that New Delhi will not show the same restraint as in Operation Sindoor 1.0, and that future retaliation would force Islamabad to “think whether it wants to be in geography or not.” Speaking to reporters, Dwivedi said: “If Pakistan wants to be in geography, then it must stop state‑sponsored terrorism,” and added that the next response would be far sterner than the recent counter-terror operation.
During Operation Sindoor 1.0, Indian armed forces attacked terrorist hideouts deep inside Pakistan and areas Islamabad has illegally occupied for decades, also known as Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
