Uttarakhand BJP MP Anil Baluni had a narrow escape from a massive landslide while he was on a visit to review the situation in the hilly state that is reeling under the havoc of torrential rain. Baluni also shared a video capturing the exact moment the landslide struck, showing a hillside collapsing as stones and debris tumbled down the mountain.

“The severe cloudburst and landslides in Uttarakhand this year have left such deep wounds that it will take a long time to heal them. Yesterday evening, I am sharing with you all a terrifying scene of a landslide in the disaster-affected area. This scene itself speaks volumes about the severe natural calamity that our Uttarakhand is going through at this time,” he wrote on X, sharing the video.
