‘Betrayed In Love’: 29-Year-Old Engineer Kills Self After Girlfriend Accuses Him Of Rape

The 29-year-old engineer met the woman through a matrimonial website. After few days of relationship, she lodged a rape complaint.

In a tragic incident reported from Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur, a 29-year-old man killed self after his girlfriend accused him of rape. As per the police, he jumped in front of the train to kill self. As per the reports, he was distressed due to rape allegations. A suicide not was also recovered.

Met Woman On Matrimonial Site

As per a report by NDTV, the victim met the woman through a matrimonial website while working in Noida. Things went smooth for a while but later the woman charged him of rape. He was arrested multiple times.

15 days prior to his death, Gaurav was jailed before being released on bail.

As per the reports, after returning from jail, he showed signs of deep distress and social withdrawal. He cut himself off and his social interaction was minimal.

His friends, cited by the reports, said the victim was a cheerful guy but the recent events took a toll on him.

Police are now investigating the case and further details will be shared accordingly.

Gurugram Man Kills Wife Then Commits Suicide

A software engineer allegedly strangled his wife to death and then committed suicide by hanging himself in a residential society, police reported on Monday.

The accused, Ajay Kumar (30), also sent a video message to his friend stating his intent to commit suicide. Following this, the police arrived at his flat and found the couple dead, they said.
