A Bengaluru woman has raised serious safety concerns with Uber after she faced an unpleasant experience during her last Uber ride.
Sharing a video of her argument with the driver on social media, the woman alleged that the driver of the Uber auto she hired refused to drop her at the booked destination.

She also alleged that the driver became aggressive when she insisted that he drop her off at her doorstep.
“I booked an Uber at home and here’s what happened. This auto driver refused to drop off at my doorstep even though it was the drop location that I booked,” she wrote.
She alleged that the driver took a sudden U-turn, attempting to drive back to the location from where the ride had started.
She also claimed that when she tried to note down the vehicle’s number, the driver attempted to hit her.
The number plate, she noted, was different from the one displayed in the Uber app, a discrepancy she said is common among Uber drivers in Bengaluru.
In the video she shared, the woman could be heard repeatedly urging the driver, “Please drop me there. There is a dog there.”
“Uncle, please stop. Otherwise, I will complain. Stop there. Don’t overdo it,” she told the driver, while he could be heard responding, “No, I won’t go.”
The woman expressed her disappointment and frustration, noting that this was not her first negative experience with Uber.
“We choose Uber expecting safety and reliability, but unfortunately, incidents like this continue to happen. Passenger safety should always be your top priority,” she wrote in her post.
Late last month, a Rapido passenger said his ride in Bengaluru was nothing less than a live soap opera, as his driver continued to be on a call as he navigated through the city.
Taking to X, the rider had shared how his driver, on his call, spoke about being involved in a heartbreak, threats of self-harm, scams, traffic complaints, and even relationship advice.
