Argentina Eases Entry Rules For Indian Citizens Holding US Visas

The Argentine government has announced a major relaxation in its entry requirements for Indian citizens. Indian nationals holding valid tourist visas for the United States will now be allowed entry into Argentina without the need for a separate Argentine visa.

The move is expected to boost tourism and business ties between India and Argentina, making travel simpler for thousands of Indian visitors.

In a post on X, the Ambassador of Argentina to India, Mariano Caucino, said that they are ready to welcome more Indian tourists into their wonderful country.

“ARGENTINA EASES ENTRY TO INDIAN CITIZENS HOLDING A US VISA. The Argentine Government has eased entry into the country for Indian citizens with US visas. The resolution published in the Official Gazette allows Indian citizens with tourist visas to enter the United States without needing to apply for an Argentine visa. This is wonderful news for both Argentina and India. We’re ready to welcome more Indian tourists into our wonderful country,” Caucino posted on X.

With this policy change, Indian citizens who hold valid US tourist visas can now use them to enter Argentina directly, eliminating a lengthy visa application process.

The announcement is seen as part of Argentina’s broader push to strengthen bilateral relations and attract more international travellers.
