British Fashion Awards: Baby bumps and Traitors stars

Designers, models and celebrities, including West End Girl singer Lily Allen, traitors star Cat Burns and fashion royalty Anna Wintour, descended on the Royal Albert Hall for the annual Fashion Awards on Monday night.

Singer Ellie Goulding and actress Sienna Miller revealed their baby bumps as they posed for photographers on the blue carpet, after the British Fashion Council chose to forgo the traditional red carpet.

Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior, was named designer of the year, with Grace Wales Bonner taking home British menswear designer of the year Givenchy’s creative director Sarah Burton winning the British womenswear designer award.

Meanwhile, Sudanese-American supermodel Anok Yai who won model of the year, said: “To all the little black girls watching me right now, your colour is not a curse… you are more powerful than you can imagine”.

Singer Raye broke up the ceremony with a performance of Cry Me A River – before launching in to her her latest single Where Is My Husband!
