The Nexon led the charge with its strongest-ever monthly sales of over 23,000 units, while cumulative sales crossed the 10 lakh milestone.Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (PV) achieved its highest-ever domestic sales in January 2026, delivering 70,222 units, up 46.1 per cent from 48,076 units in January 2025. Strong demand for both conventional and electric vehicles drove the growth.
Overall passenger vehicle sales, including domestic and international markets, reached 71,066 units, marking a 47.1 per cent increase over January 2025. Sales in the PV international business (IB) segment grew significantly to 844 units, a 251.7 per cent jump. EV domestic and IB sales also surged 72.7 per cent, reaching 9,052 units.

New launches including the Sierra, Harrier, Safari (petrol variants), and the refreshed Punch saw strong traction, with Sierra production being ramped up to meet exceptional customer demand.
