The two auto players marked this development as they commemorated 20 years of partnering viatheir 50:50 joint venture,Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL).

The joint venture is currently manufacturing around 222,000 vehicles annually, including four Jeep models and three Tata Motors passenger vehicles at its plant.
