Škoda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) on Thursday announced the appointment of Nitin Selot as Executive Director – finance, IT and legal affairs, effective 19 February 2026.

According to the official press release, in his new role, Selot will lead the company’s financial strategy and IT transformation initiatives in India, steering the next phase of growth for the Group, which manages the domestic operations of six brands — Škoda Auto, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche.

The company operates two manufacturing facilities in Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Holger Peters, Board Member for Finance, IT and Legal Affairs at Škoda Auto, said that India is the most important market for the parent company outside Europe. He noted that a robust financial framework and agile IT systems will be central to sustaining growth and improving productivity.
