Vatsa noted strong customer response to the KURO Special Edition and the new Metallic Grey variant of the Magnite.Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) on Saturday reported selling 9,675 units in October 2025, registering a 45 per cent month-on-month growth, driven by festive demand for the New Nissan Magnite and the impact of the GST rate reduction announced by the government.
Domestic wholesales stood at 2,402 units, while exports reached 7,273 units, reaffirming Nissan India’s role as a key export hub. The company recently celebrated the export of its 1.2 millionth vehicle under its “Make in India, Make for the World” initiative.
“October has been a good month for the automotive industry as well as Nissan Motor India, driven by festive cheer supported by the GST rationalisation announced by the Government of India,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, NMIPL.
Vatsa noted strong customer response to the KURO Special Edition and the new Metallic Grey variant of the Magnite, as well as growing interest in the brand’s expanding CNG retrofitment programme.
He added that Nissan is preparing for upcoming product launches, including the Tekton, a seven-seater B-MPV, and a seven-seater C-SUV, supported by an expanding dealer network.
By passing on the full GST benefit, Nissan reduced the prices of the New Magnite by up to ₹1 lakh.
