Luxury carmaker MINI on Monday announced the revised prices of its Cooper hatchback variants following the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate cut on passenger vehicles. The new pricing reflects a reduction of around ₹2.5–3 lakh across different variants.

According to the official statement, the Essential Pack is now priced at ₹43.7 lakh (ex-showroom), down from ₹46.2 lakh. The Classic Pack has been reduced to ₹49.2 lakh from ₹51.95 lakh. The Favoured Pack now costs ₹52 lakh, compared to ₹55 lakh earlier.

The JCW Pack price has also dropped from ₹57.5 lakh to ₹54.5 lakh. The revision comes after the GST Council’s recent decision to lower the tax rate on sub-four metre small cars, compact SUVs, and certain premium vehicles from 28 per cent to 18 per cent.

The announcement comes at a time when several luxury automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi, have rolled out similar price cuts to align with the new tax regime.
