The tentative ex-showroom price for the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will be around ₹55 lakh, while the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ is expected to be priced at ₹59 lakh. The final pricing will depend on foreign exchange rates at the time of the launch scheduled for mid-April 2026.
According to the official press release, the new variant will complement the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ version, offering customers a broader choice in terms of range and styling while maintaining similar equipment levels and technology features across both models.

Customers pre-booking the CLA BEV will receive a complimentary Mercedes-Benz wall box charger. In addition, buyers will have the option to purchase the standard wall box charger separately through Mercedes-Benz franchise partners at a price of ₹50,000 including installation.
Features
The CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ delivers a claimed 792 km range (WLTP), while the newly introduced CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ offers 542 km on a full charge. The introduction of the additional variant follows customer feedback seeking another range option in the CLA electric sedan portfolio. Bookings for both variants have opened with a booking amount of ₹1.5 lakh. Deliveries of the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ are expected to begin from end-April 2026, while the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will be delivered from June 2026.
The charger supports household charging of up to 22 kW and can be managed through the Mercedes me mobile application.

The electric sedan is built on 800-volt architecture, enabling rapid charging capabilities. Using a 240 kW DC fast charger, the CLA 250+ can add up to 400 km of range in 20 minutes, while the CLA 200 can gain about 320 km of range in the same time.
The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will feature Progressive Line styling, including comfort seats, a multifunction sports leather steering wheel and two trim options, while retaining the same overall equipment levels as the long-range variant.

Mercedes-Benz said the model will also benefit from its MB.CHARGE public charging ecosystem, which provides access to more than 9,000 charging points across the country, aimed at addressing range anxiety and supporting long-distance EV travel.
