The model is available in three variants: CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’, CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ and CLA 250+ ‘Launch Edition’; priced at ₹55 lakh, ₹59 lakh and ₹64 lakh, respectively.

CLA 250+ ‘Launch Edition’

The CLA BEV is the first model based on Mercedes-Benz’s new MMA platform with 800-volt architecture and runs on MB.OS, enabling over-the-air updates and continuous feature enhancements.

It features NVIDIA chips delivering up to 508 trillion operations per second and integrates a virtual assistant powered by ChatGPT4, MS Bing and Gemini, along with Google Maps navigation with electric intelligence.

The vehicle debuts the fourth-generation MBUX system in India and comes with ADAS Level 2 as standard, upgradeable to Level 2+ via OTA.

Range and charging
The CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ delivers up to 792 km (WLTP), while the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ offers 542 km.

The 800-volt architecture enables the CLA 250+ to add up to 400 km of range in 20 minutes using a 240 kW DC charger, while the CLA 200 adds 320 km in the same duration.

The vehicle supports up to 320 kW DC charging and is integrated with Mercedes-Benz’s MB.CHARGE Public network of over 9,000 charging points across India.

“Through our 9,000+ strong MB.CHARGE Public network, attractive financing solutions, guaranteed residual value and an industry-first High-Voltage Battery Report, we are already building an unmatched BEV ecosystem for our future BEV customers. The CLA BEV marks a decisive step forward, laying a strong foundation for Mercedes-Benz’s long-term BEV journey in India,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India

Ownership and ecosystem
Mercedes-Benz has introduced an industry-first High Voltage Battery Report with the CLA BEV to enhance transparency on battery condition and build customer trust.

Ownership is supported by financing options including EMIs starting at ₹62,000, 59 per cent assured buy-back value and interest rates starting at 6.99 per cent.

The vehicle comes with an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty and service packages starting at ₹ƒ60,000 for four years.

“The pre-launch demand for the CLA BEV from existing luxury customers across markets reinforces our belief that Indian customers do not compromise on high product substance. Based on customer feedback we are launching an exclusively styled top-end CLA 250+ ‘Launch Edition’, and the ‘Standard Range’ CLA 200 variant, along with the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’, catering to diverse customer requirements that are fast-evolving,” Iyer added.
