Maruti Suzuki logs 23.8% rise in June sales to 1.50 lakh units

Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) on Wednesday reported a 23.8 per cent rise in its domestic sales, including light commercial vehicles (LCVs), for the June 2026 period, rising to 1,50,150 units from 1,21,339 units in the year-ago period.

The company recorded total sales of 2,00,390 units during the period under review, up 19.3 per cent from 1,67,993 units in the corresponding month last year, led by robust demand in the domestic market and higher exports. Including supplies to other OEMs, total domestic sales stood at 1,57,622 units, up 21.1 per cent year-on-year. Exports rose 13.0 per cent to 42,768 units from 37,842 units a year earlier.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales increased 23.8 per cent to 1,47,187 units, compared with 1,18,906 units in June 2025. Utility vehicles, comprising the Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6, registered sales of 61,726 units, up 28.7 per cent from 47,947 units a year ago.

Passenger car sales, including the Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Swift, Dzire and WagonR, rose 22.1 per cent to 75,231 units from 61,619 units in the year-ago period. Sales of the Eeco van increased 9.5 per cent to 10,230 units, while Super Carry light commercial vehicle sales grew 21.8 per cent to 2,963 units.

Sales to other OEMs, however, declined 15.2 per cent to 7,472 units from 8,812 units in June 2025.

For the April-June quarter of FY27, Maruti Suzuki’s total sales increased 29.3 per cent to 6,82,724 units, while total domestic sales, including OEM supplies, rose to 5,57,988 units from 4,30,889 units in the corresponding period last year. Exports during the quarter grew 28.6 per cent to 1,24,736 units.
