Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday said it has inaugurated its 1,500th parts and accessories distributor touchpoint in Mumbai, marking a significant expansion of its nationwide aftermarket network.

“These genuine parts and accessories help maintain performance, safety, and longevity of the vehicle — one of the key reasons why customers continue to choose Maruti Suzuki. To further strengthen this trust, we are expanding our parts and accessories distribution network beyond our already widespread sales and service footprint,” said Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India.

According to an official press release, Maruti Suzuki’s Genuine Parts and Accessories network plays a key role in supporting its extensive sales and service operations. The network comprises authorised distributors with strategically located warehouses and retail outlets, ensuring timely access to high-quality, certified components across the company’s vehicle portfolio.

These touchpoints primarily serve smaller independent workshops and mechanics, helping reduce vehicle downtime and improving repair turnaround times. The company said that this accessibility translates into a superior ownership experience for customers and contributes to better vehicle performance and longevity.

The expansion to 1,500 touchpoints underscores Maruti Suzuki’s push to fortify its customer-focused ecosystem as it continues to maintain its leadership in the Indian passenger vehicle market.
