Mahindra launches BE 6 Batman edition at ₹27.79 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, has introduced the BE 6 Batman edition, a special edition electric SUV inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy.

Priced at ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom, without charger), production will be limited to 300 units. According to the company’s statement, bookings open on August 23 2025, with deliveries scheduled from September 20, coinciding with International Batman Day.

Design and exterior features

The BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three 79 kWh variant and features a satin black exterior finish. It comes with custom Batman decals, R20 alloy wheels, and alchemy gold-painted suspension and brake callipers. “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” badging is displayed on the front quarter panel.

The Bat emblem from The Dark Knight Trilogy appears on the wheel hub caps, front quarter panel, rear bumper, rear quarter glass, and infinity roof.

Interior and infotainment

The cabin features a brushed gold Batman Edition plaque on the centre console, a charcoal leather instrument panel with gold stitching, and seats upholstered in black suede and leather with gold accent stitching.

The Bat emblem is embossed on the seats, central console, steering wheel, and rear armrest. The edition also includes Batman Edition scuff plates and a special welcome animation on the infotainment display.

Performance and Specifications

The BE 6 Batman Edition is equipped with a 79 kWh battery and a dual motor AWD system delivering 285 kW (382 hp). It offers a claimed range of up to 450 km (MIDC cycle) and supports 175 kW DC fast charging, capable of adding up to 100 km range in under 10 minutes. The SUV includes multiple drive modes—Fun, Fast, Fearless, and a Batman-specific mode—along with an adaptive suspension system, regenerative braking, and a 0–100 km/h time of under 6 seconds.
