Total exports, meanwhile, grew 15 per cent to 4,015 units during the month.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) on Saturday reported its highest-ever monthly SUV sales of 71,624 units in October 2025, marking a 31 per cent year-on-year growth. Total vehicle sales, including commercial vehicles and exports, stood at 1,20,142 units, a 26 per cent increase over the same month last year.

“In October, we achieved SUV sales of 71,624 units, a growth of 31 per cent , which is the highest SUV sales we have clocked ever in a month. The total vehicle sales stand at 120,142 units, a 26 per cent growth compared to the same month last year,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.

“October also saw the launch of the new editions of Thar, Bolero & Bolero Neo,” he added.

In the commercial vehicles category, domestic sales rose 14 per cent year-on-year to 31,741 units, led by demand in the light commercial vehicle (2T–3.5T) segment.

Total exports, meanwhile, grew 15 per cent to 4,015 units during the month.

Farm Equipment Business

The company’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) sold 72,071 tractors in the domestic market in October, registering a 12 per cent year-on-year growth. Including exports, total tractor sales reached 73,660 units, up 13 per cent from 65,453 units a year earlier. Exports surged 41 per cent to 1,589 units. “We have sold 72,071 tractors in the domestic market during October, a growth of 12 per cent over last year,” said Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, M&M Ltd.

“A good monsoon, combined with the benefit of GST rate cut announced in September, have supported the strong performance in September and October 2025. Going forward, factors like timely onset of Rabi sowing and good progress in Kharif harvesting augur well for tractor sales,” Nakra stated.

Trucks and Buses

Mahindra’s Trucks & Buses Business sold 2,034 vehicles in October 2025, a 14 per cent increase year-on-year, driven by growth in intermediate light commercial vehicles (ILCVs) and buses. “The CV industry marked a modest recovery in October supported by lower GST and the festival season,” stated Vinod Sahay, Executive Chairman – SML, and President – Aerospace, Defence, Trucks, Buses & CE, M&M.

“The HCV segment continues to face headwinds, with persistent challenges impacting growth and demand,” he added.
