Lexus India on Monday announced significant price reductions across its portfolio, passing on the full benefits of the government’s recent GST 2.0 reforms to customers. The revised prices will take effect from September 22, coinciding with the nationwide implementation of the new tax structure.

The announcement comes at a time when several luxury automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi, have rolled out similar price cuts to align with the new tax regime.

As per the official statement, price cuts range from ₹1.47 lakh on the Lexus ES 300h to as much as ₹20.8 lakh on the brand’s flagship LX 500d SUV. Other models such as the NX 350h, RX 350h, RX 500h and LM 350h also see reductions of up to ₹1.58 lakh, ₹2.1 lakh, ₹2.58 lakh and ₹5.77 lakh, respectively.

“Coming at the onset of the festive season, it will spark joy and create new opportunities for our guests to experience the Lexus range of vehicles,” said Hikaru Ikeuchi, President, Lexus India.

Lexus, which entered the Indian market in 2017, currently offers a five-model line-up, four of which are self-charging hybrid electric vehicles. The ES 300h remains its most popular model, and was also the first to be locally produced in India.
