Kia India expanded the Syros SUV range with the introduction of a new HTK (EX) trim, responding to customer feedback for more features at an accessible price point. The variant is priced at ₹9,89,000 (ex-showroom) for the petrol version and ₹10,63,900 for the diesel.

With the addition, the Syros portfolio now offers seven trims, giving buyers a wider choice across powertrains and feature levels. The HTK (EX) is positioned above the HTK(O) and brings several design and convenience upgrades.

“At Kia, customer insights guide every product decision we make. The introduction of the HTK(EX) trim reflects our focus on responding to feedback and delivering meaningful value,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice President and National Head – Sales and Marketing, Kia India. The new variant aims to make the SUV more accessible without diluting the features and quality associated with the brand, he added.

Feature upgrades

The HTK (EX) trim comes with LED DRLs, headlamps and tail-lamps, along with R16 alloy wheels to enhance exterior styling. Inside, it gets an electric sunroof, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, streamlined door handles, and a rear parking camera with sensors.

Safety equipment includes ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Management and six airbags, taking the total safety package to over 20 features.

For the first time, the HTK (EX) is also available with a diesel powertrain, strengthening its appeal across fuel options.

Built on Kia’s reinforced K1 platform, the Syros carries a five-star BNCAP rating and focuses on space and practicality with a roomy cabin and large boot. The SUV follows Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, blending bold styling with everyday usability.
