The company said that the achievement reflects growing consumer trust and accelerating adoption of electric mobility across the country.
According to the company, the milestone has been driven by strong performance of its diversified EV portfolio, catering to a broad spectrum of customer needs — from daily urban commutes to premium driving experiences. MG’s lineup, which includes models across price points, underscores the brand’s strategy to balance performance, affordability, and sustainability.
“Crossing the 100,000 EV sales milestone reflects the trust Indian customers place in sustainable choices,” said Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India. Its market share has increased from 26 per cent in CY24 to 35 per cent currently, driven by rising demand and growing acceptance among mainstream consumers.
