Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) and the United Union of Hyundai Employees (UUHE) have finalised a three-year wage settlement agreement for the period April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027, providing what is being described as an industry-best salary revision.

The agreement, signed after constructive dialogue between the company and the recognised union, ensures a monthly hike of ₹31,000 in the all-inclusive compensation package. The increase will be phased in over three years in the ratio of 55 per cent, 25 per cent, and 20 per cent, the company said in a statement.

Along with the wage hike, HMIL said it will continue to provide best-in-class employee welfare measures, including comprehensive health coverage and advanced wellness programmes.

“At Hyundai, our people are the cornerstone of our success. This agreement, built on mutual trust, respect, and constructive dialogue, reflects our shared commitment to fostering a progressive workplace culture that prioritises employee welfare and supports long-term organisational growth,” said Youngmyung Park, Function Head – People Strategy, HMIL.

UUHE, registered in 2011, is the officially recognised body for HMIL’s workforce. As of August 31, 2025, it represents 1,981 members, covering 90 per cent of the company’s technician and workmen cadre.
