Nitesh Tiwari casts Amit Sial as Sugriv in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ramayana’: Report

Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ adaptation, starring Ranbir Kapoor, generates hype with Amit Sial cast as Sugriv. The film’s first look debuted on July 3, 2025. Featuring a star-packed cast and directed by Tiwari, it promises to be a landmark, ambitious Indian cinematic venture focused on the epic battle of Rama and Ravana.

Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the ‘Ramayana’ is generating significant excitement as one of the most anticipated projects. The film’s impressive cast continues to attract attention, with the latest news revealing that Amit Sial will join Ranbir Kapoor in the film, portraying Sugriv. In Hindu mythology, Sugriv is known as Bali’s younger brother and played a crucial role in assisting Lord Rama to rescue Sita from the demon king Ravana.Amit Sial’s role and preparationAccording to Hindustan Times, Amit has shot a few portions of the film and he will be seen playing a Hindu epic mythological character Sugriv. The actor and the director, Nitesh, will be working on his appearance to have authenticity to his narrative.
