Dharmendra’s prayer meet: Esha and ex-husband Bharat to reunite

Dharmendra's prayer meet: Esha Deol and ex-husband Bharat Takhtani to reunite; former couple to host ceremony in Delhi

A special prayer meet in memory of late veteran actor Dharmendra will be held in New Delhi on December 11. The ceremony will reportedly take place at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, between 4 PM and 6 PM.

Esha and Bharat to reunite

As per reports on NDTV, the ceremony will reportedly bring together members of the Deol family, including Esha Deol and her former husband, Bharat Takhtani. The couple, who parted ways in 2024 after nearly 12 years of marriage, continue to co-parent daughters Radhya and Miraya. Bharat seen attending the prayer service organised in Hema Malini’s house on November 27. He was seen arriving with his family to stand by Esha’s side as the family mourned Dharmendra’s demise. Esha’s sister Ahana Deol will also be present at the prayer meet, accompanied by her husband, Vaibhav Vohra.

Hema’s emotional post

The news of the prayer meet comes a day after Hema paid emotional tribute to her late husband, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The veteran star passed away weeks shy of his 90th birthday. In a touching post, she wrote, “Dharam ji Happy birthday my dear heart More than two weeks have passed since you left me heartbroken, slowly gathering up the pieces and trying to reconstruct my life, knowing that you will always be with me in spirit. The joyful memories of our life together can never be erased and just reliving those moments bring me great solace and happiness. I thank God for our lovely years together, for our two beautiful girls who reaffirm our love for each other and for all the beautiful, happy memories that will remain with me in my heart. On your birthday My prayers for God to grant you the wealth of peace and happiness that you richly deserve for your humility and goodness of heart and your love for humanity. Happy birthday dear love.”

Bharat romantically linked to Meghna

Esha and Bharat’s reunion comes amid reports that the businessman has found love again. Early this year, reports claimed that he had moved on with entrepreneur Meghna Lakhani Taljera. In their Instagam stories, the two shared posts that seemed to confirm their relationship status. Meghna shared a cosy picture that she captioned, “The journey starts here.” Bharat reposted it with the caption “Welcome to my family.”

Deol family to come together

The upcoming prayer meet is expected to see the entire Deol family come together to pray for the late star. Last month, sons Bobby and Sunny hosted a separate prayer meet for their dad on the same day, November 27. The ceremony that was held at a 5-star hotel in the city, that saw several Bollywood stars from Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in attendance. Go to Source
